Doddington Lodge, Ludlow wins highly
acclaimed Team Award!
The Domestic team at Doddington Lodge residential home in Hopton Wafers,
Ludlow has won the Team Award at the annual Shropshire Partners in Care awards.
Hosted by BBC Radio Shropshire DJ Eric Smith and with after dinner speaker
Christine Hamilton, the glittering awards ceremony celebrated the hard work, success and outstanding achievement of care staff, nurses and care managers
working within the independent care community in Shropshire.
Nominated by Suzan Reeves said, “I could not ask for a better domestic team,
they work hard to achieve a clean environment, reducing the risk of infection in
our home with ease and efficiency. They always provide a peace of mind with a
smile and ‘can do’ attitude.”
Domestic team Leader Lucille Oliver from Culmington said, “It is fantastic to be acknowledged as a team, we work extremely well together ensuring all our
residents are happy and risk free.”
Over 250 guests from 16 care homes; domiciliary agencies and day centers from
all around the county supported the second care awards ceremony at the
International Centre, Telford.
Christine Hamilton presented the domestic team with the team award
concluded,” The Shropshire Care Awards are a fantastic way to reward amazing
individuals who work their socks off to improve the quality of life for others they truly
are ‘unsung heroes.”
